May 4th

Race 1 canceled in a dying NW wind before a rotation to the South at 9 kn in Race 2. Congratulation to TeeSou and Run A Way in their respective classes.
Next outing is the boats parade, where boats round a mark anchored of Boulineau beach, Cherry Grove ( 12 miles round trip). Staggered start with the slower boat first. A lot of fun, catching the boat in front and leaving behind  boat starting after you. Grand prize for the biggest fish caught, bragging right for the first one to finish and many moreEmoji
See you on the water…

Ahoy !

From the commodore:
For Captains and crew we will get together at 0930 by the pool at MBYC on Saturday the 30th.
We will discuss the upcoming year and those that want and have crew will take their boats out for a shake down if they want. 70 degs. light winds out of the South, cloudy. Dress warm as it will still be cold on the ocean.  Let me know who is going, crew and captains. The first race will be on the 6th of April.  So let’s  get those boats ready…

For anyone who would like to be part of the racing crews, or learn to sail while doing so… beginners to experienced are welcome! Do you have a boat, and can use help sailing it or learning to navigate the Little River inlet? Come join the Long Bay Sailing Association and download membership application or Message Jaime F. Pando or Breckenridge Caine III if you’re interested 😀⚓️☀️
